OVERVIEW: The YFF-Lined Y (Wye) strainer is an FRP design in a 150# Class for under 180F service. The composite laminate construction provides structural strength and optimizes chemical resistance. Y strainers feature a cleanout valve that eliminates the need for removing the basket when performing routine cleaning. Available in 2" to 14" sizes.
They are all provided with 150# flanged ends standard, but threaded, socket, and other ends are also available. Flanged or threaded blowdown ports are provided.
The YFF strainers utilize a basket screen with 1/4" perforations or as specified, and come standard in PVDF material. Other perfs and materials are available. EPDM lid gaskets come standard, with Viton and Teflon also available. Removal flange lid uses stainless steel bolts and washers.
The YFF-Lined Model strainers are special FRP construction with special PVC, CPVC, Polypropylene, or PVDF material liners. The BFF Model are basket strainers of similar construction.
