SIL-BT SILENT THREADED BRONZE CHECK VALVE

OVERVIEW: The SIL-BT center-guided silent check valves with a bronze body use a fully automatic spring assisted discs to eliminate water hammer while preventing flow reversal in the piping.  The spring closure acts faster than swing check valves, which can slam shut with the flow reversal. 

The contour of the body provides a short and straight flow path that generates very little turbulence. A simplified design provides a long service life for a wide variety of applications, and it has hex ends for quick and easy installation.

Provided with a PTFE seat, it maintains a bubble tight seal that meets or exceeds  API 598 leakage requirements.  Discs are designed with very low cracking pressure, which reduces the amount of energy needed to open the valve.
