OVERVIEW: The DIFL model duplex strainers have cast iron steel bodies for use in continuous flow applications to avoid shutting down the system for cleaning. It supplements the DCF model duplex strainer that is available up to 4" sizes.
It utilizes four stainless steel ball valves that efficiently divert the pipeline flow from one basket chamber to the other. Teflon seats ensure a positive seal and help to prevent seepage into the chamber that is being serviced for cleaning.
The DIFL features a low torque, easy to operate handle that does not require a gearbox. The handle position clearly indicates which basket is in service and which basket can safely be removed for cleaning.
Not recommended for steam service. Special low torque design. 6" and 8" diameters.
